Are we still mad that they killed Jim off? I am sort of. When the show first started Jim and Melinda were already married. Now it looks like were are going to kind of go back in time. That is, we will get to see them fall in love all over again. The only downfall is no one else see him the way Melinda does. They all see him as Sam. And he obviously won't be working as a paramedic anymore. And he won't be supportive or understanding of Melinda's gift - at least not yet anyway. So what do you think now? I can still be mad that they killed Jim off but this looks like it could be interesting. At least the character isn't going anywhere. What do you think? Do you like where this is headed?

I'm mad! It's to confusing now, I liked it the way it was! Did they run out of story lines? Did they hire writers from the soap operas??? I hope it gets better, it's one of the only two shows I watch!

I don't see this as going the way of soap operas at all. If she started seeing Eli, or if the Professor came back (why can't any of us remember what his character's name was?) and she hooked up with him, THEN it would be a soap opera. They may just do right by Melinda and Jim. We'll just have to wait and see.

Yes, I was totally mad when Jim was killed. It will be sort of nice to watch their relationship develop all over again. Maybe they can have that baby they were working on. I really like David Conrad so I'm glad he's not off the show and they found a way for him to stay. I will definitely keep watching to see how things will develop.

I didn't see any reason to kill Jim. The ratings weren't in trouble and networks shouldn't have made many viewers mad by tearing apart a happy couple. What is wrong with happiness on a show? The economy is a mess and shouldn't we get some joy for an hour.

Well, I have to agree with you there. The producers' reasoning is that there is no such thing as a perfect life. Let's see how the heroine deals with life when lemons are thrown at her. But, hasn't she already had a few lemons thrown her way? Ah well, we're still watching and that's what they want.

I think that they just wanted to switch things up and make the show different. I am not sure how I feel about it. I am wondering if Melinda is going to find out that she is pregnant now. I am glad that they are at least keeping Sam around. If they got rid of Jim totally I would have really been disappointed.

Hi, patgalca. I think that I would be depressed to see this show with Jim being there. They made such an understanding and happy marriage couple. He was the dream of every woman's figment of imagination. I did not like the fact that they founded a way to get rid of Jim. Him and Melinda made a great couple! The show is so incomplete without these two together as husband and wife.

I must admit I really didn't expect jim to jump into someones else's body. I was pretty upset by it. I'm not sure how i feel about this chain of events. Its great that they are going to be together again but i'm not sure i like the how of it. I kind of hope melinda wakes up and find out it was all a dream. And won't there be some kind of penalty for stealing a body to spend more time on earth when it was his time to move on? So i guess we'll have to watch and hope that everything will work out in the end.
