Hi n3owing. I don't know how to "prepare" but I "prefer" kutsinta (the orange one) over puto (ricecake). I like kutsinta with lots of grated coconut on it.

I also like puto when it's hot and has lots of cheese on top. I find it kind of unusual with cheese at the bottom. How is it possible? Do you put the rice cake on top of the cheese? Heheh. Weird. Well, as long as you enjoy it, then go ahead.

I love it both and I love "Filipino Kakanin". For puto, I love puto pao, puto rice, cheese puto, ube puto, puto pangasinan and for the plain one I love it for dinuguan and other viands with soup. For Kutchinta, I love the one being delivered to my place every other day. it's a kutchinta with little of "niyog" and a special toppings (it taste like yema but it's creamy".

You know friend, i think you are angry to those foods you've share here.. I feel like you want them to chew all and grind with all your teeth! Anyway all of that native foods here in our country are delicious and even my family want them all to eat. And that was the foods our kababayan missing wherever they are. I prefer to eat kutchinta with coconut meat a the top. Hmmm! I like that!

You know what mods, I love to eat. I don't drink or going out gimmicks. I just love to eat and cook. Even my fiancee loves to cook it's one of my weaknesses. When my hypertension strike I can't eat those I really want to eat. So when I am fine I really eat a lot. I love kutchinta with a lot of coconut with it but my fiancee loves the puto more. She buys a lot and also share it with her staff. Have a nice day to you! God bless!

i know how to make puto. do you think your fiancee wants to try? i will be glad to give you the recipe if she wants to try. i learned it from my aunt and this recipe is within the family even before our grandparents were born. it is enhanced by some of the relatives. dont worry it is not hard to do it and she can try if she wants too.
