On Dark Woman

In the eastern hemisphere color of the women is a matter of consideration when it is a case of marriage or of selecting a babe to make love. For a marriage or for finding one to make love dark girls are generally rejected. There are good number of short stories in the modern literature in which agony of the dark girls has been painted with care.But you will not find so-called discrimination on the basis of color whether in the eyes of the law or in the practices of the society. In the ancient literature women,fair and dark, have been appreciated and blessed with high status. Gandharee of the Mahabharata was a very fair woman and Radha, the highly inculcated fiance of Krishno, was also very much fair, whereas Droupodee, the wife of the five great brothers of the Mahabharata, was dark. In the western literature dark girls are hardly present save one dark woman who has been solemnly referred in the sonnets of none other that Shakespeare, the greatest of the bards. These all have come to my mind for a different reason. One of my friends has a tendency to select dark girls or woman for dating and it is his statement that he finds more pleasure in the game with them. Will any one tell me if this is anything special for my friend or if there is anything really to pay attention to?
