There are some who rarely mean what they say, are you one of them ? then again there are some who always manage to do what they say and mean what they say. I try most of the time to only say stuff I mean but I also to be honest am not able to do it all the time. what about you ?

Hi dear
We are humans and at the end of the day when we not quite able to do stuffs that we thought, said or promised and still be sorry about it - it's completely sane. Many times we cannot really do the thing the way we wanted to and sometimes we fail completely. There could be so many reasons for that.
I am a normal human who try her best to keep her promises but on many occasions fail because of some intervention that she does not have control over. Like I had promised my friend to be with him but couldn't because I was held back at home for my father was not feeling well. I do not make fake promises, never I would do that. I try to live up to those no matter what. I think that's what you meant also.

Hi dear
promises should not be fake but it surely understood when it could not be kept inspite of being trying hard. That's what trust comes in.

A promise is to be kept at any cost.I always keep up my promise because I like others to keep up their promises.By ignoring, you are losing the trust of others. You will not be relied upon the next time you promise back. There is a simple way to keep up promises.Just follow these two steps......1.Given a promise, fulfill it at any cost.2.Never give a promise if you are doubtful to make it.

Hi there E Farmer!
I am proud to say that I am one of those people who mean it when I make a promise.
When I was a kid, I was a victim of broken promises. Therefore, now that I am grown up and have my own child, I always make it a point that I do as I promise. I would never want my child to lose his trust in me and his trust in my words which will happen if I don't keep my promises.

sometimes, I say promises just for the sake of promising something. But always, when it concerns promises to my kids, then I make it a point that I always keep them. We have an open communication and keeping promises help kids respect the promises that they do also. Keeping promises is a chain that leads to more trust and being responsible.
Hope this somehow helps. Thanks!

I am not saying promises to someone unless I am sure I can get it done. I don't want any person to have bad impressions on me because of my unfulfilled promised.Aside from that I don't want to hear someone telling me that I am a bag of wind.If I am not certain weather I can get something done or not, I am telling it honestly on the person.I think there is nothing wrong in being honest with your capacities. You are just being true to yourself and to the other person.
