Spending hours on the internet.

I would like to add something to the disadvantages of spending long hours on the Internet cited in response (1), (2), and (3). Social behaviour needs to be mentioned. Most people who spend long hours on the Internet do socialise online but their relationship with friends and neighbours is not close. These people may not necessarily be geeks or nerds, who were generally regarded as not people friendly. Another aspect is language. The use of short forms, slang words, and emoticons have led to a change in how the person communicates. While this has been applauded by some people as a kind of progress, it creates a communication gap between the old and young generations. By the way, are you writing an article/thesis?

I spend more that 10 hours in front of a computer too. I work as a programmer. I dont really know some disadvantages of working in front of a computer for a long period of time everyday. Based in my experience, my eyes are more affected than any part of my body. Sometime I feel like my eyes are blurry. I need some advices too about this problem.

Hi. I'm working in front of computer (online) everyday more than 10 hours since i'm a sysadmin i must monitor all the network and servers.I think the disadvantages can damage you eyes and also mostly people who work always sit have obesity. So i advice to walk around every 1 hours, get another sight to prevent your eyes damaged.

its bad for the back, ur eyes, shulder n ur wrists take breaks
