Is it true that we dont get paid by commenting?

My goodness... it really shocked me when I saw mylotters said that we dont get paid by commenting. I need honest real answers please. I almost spend my day commenting. If I dnt earn from it y work is vain. I need mylotters masters opinion.

Whoever said that is incorrect. If you start a discussion and no one replies you do not get recognition for it. However, commenting on discussions, replying to people who reply to your discussions and responding to anyone is counted. The person who said this was probably confusing earning with an increase in the activity figure, that is the number in brackets next to your name. It only ever goes up once for each discussion you reply to but no you get paid for every quality response you make no matter how many times you reply to a discussion. That is how fun discussions come about between users. Some people here start discussions and never reply to the people who respond because it does not increase their activity number and they think they will not get paid for responding to them. They are incorrect. The TOS says you do not get paid for just saying thank you for replying but if you reply to their response with a new comment it is counted like any other quality post.

I have found this rule under the Don'ts. Thank everyone that responds or comments on your discussion. This will not increase your earnings. It does not specify if you are awarded any earnings when you place a comment into a discussion or not.

Will we also get paid by commenting to answers to our discussion? I hope so. I have never been to mylot for quite sometime so I need to familiarize myself with the rules again :)

Its is not true.You get paid for commenting to other's discussion in mylot.If your comment is good.People will rate your comments.Other people feel happy when you comment in their discussion.

If you answer to a topic you get paid, if you comment to someone answer you also get paid. If that wasnt true I wouldnt earn anything last few days as I basicly do is commenting and didnt gave time to answer other peoples discussions.
