I love to eat especially Filipino food. My favorite is pork sinigang ever since I was young. My mother usually cook it but I only eat the meat. I also love adobo. But there is a certain taste of the said dish that I like. I don't want the sweet one. Another Filipino dish that I like is Beef Mechado. Well, I am not sure if it is really a Pinoy original. But I still love it.

I have so many favorite filipino food including sinigang na bangus, tinulang manok, putomaya, suman, puto bongbong, alimango (crab) in young coconut and prawn in butter. The alimango in young coconut is a specialty of my father who is a very good cook, it is so yummy which makes you eat beyond limit. The chest of the alimango or the crab will be cut open before frying and put the young fresh coconut inside and tied it by rope then cook in sprite with oil, onions and garlic, super delicious. Prawn in butter is another favorite (this is very common in Surigao-my native province), it is cook by a sprite (softdrink)and let it dry, then fry it using butter with onion and garlic. During christmas season these are our usual food at christmas eve so I am very excited to come home to surigao this coming holiday season.

Hi! I am in the States right now, and is not a good cook, so I miss my mom's adobo and sinigang. I would always crave for those, and also for green mango and spicy bagoong. Well, I can get the Barrio Fiesta spicy bagoong, sometimes green mango, and sinigang and adobo mixes from a Chinese-Filipino store here at Philadelphia (but it's very far), but then nothing really beats my mom's cooking because that's what I grew up eating! This discussion suddenly made me hungry. Happy myLotting!

As a Filipino, there's so many foods and dishes that I like. I like Lechon, Balut, Pinakbet, La Paz Batchoy, Adobo, and many more. I love Pinoy foods, especially home-cooked foods from my mama. Actually there's many more foods and dishes that I like, but it will be a long list if I lest it here and it will looks like a fiesta. Happy MyLotting my friends.
