Does spike look good with a long hair?

Hi Guys, I recently changed my hair style to a spike that is only on the front and random on the rest of the parts. It has been three weeks since i have cut my hair. It has grown long and do you think it will be good if i still have this spike with a long hair or should i crop my hair to make the spike more suitable?
