I have seen many sites offering free websites and domains. Can I use these free sites? Are there any disadvantages to the free versions of websites and domains compared to a paid website or domain?
One site I have seen is byhosting.com Should I use this site to host my blogs and websites?
Please share your experience and opinions about free websites and domains. Thanks!

on my personal (bad) experience, free host is good since you don't pay for the services. but what concerns me is their uptime and service guarantee. i've used a free hosting before to run my affiliate online store, but after a few months with them they suddenly went down and no news or notification to members what happened.
i've learned from it that's why i am using a paid hosting already paid only one time setup ($25 less 20% discount or $10 less which ever is available) and no monthly fee.
just message me is you are interested and i'll give you the discount code for 20% discount or a $10 discount.

IF you want your domain name then you have to register in Godaddy.com So please don't ask for free domain name just pay and register your domain.

Free ones will not give you complete aaauthority over your site. And there willbe alot of junks you don't ask for every day in your mail.So go for paid ones.
There service are also reliable than free ones.

Thanks for the advice. I have to disagree though that if you find and use the really good free ones, then you will be fine. I am using freewebs (its called webs now) and I receive no junk mail. It is very easy to use and I think I will stick to it until I can afford my own domain and site.
