I have never seen this movie. What is it about? What happens in the movie? Why do you think it is weird? Is it not a comidy like he normally plays in? Or something different? I think may just check it out. As I have always liked Jim carey as an actor.

I like the twist in the movie that I actually didn't expect at first he was the one who wrote the book.

hey what's wrong guys?? its a damn gud movie...first of all i was stuned to see jim in such a role(serious one)...all he do is comedy but this one was off the hook..!! all that suspence abt who wrote the book wz gud... i'll rate it 6/10 those who like suspence i'll prefer saw(all parts) :)

I enjoyed this movie a lot. I really liked seeing Jim Carrey do a serious movie (and play a serious character)...and I have to admit, I thought he was completely great in the scenes representing his "book" self (or at least who he thinks the book is describing). I love tattoos on guys...and his huge back tattoo was rock n roll (sorry it that's too much info). On another note, the color scheme of the movie was great. I like movies that have a dark look and feel to them. Also, the film noir scenes involving the contents of the book are amazing...very Old Hollywood-esque (which I love).
