to most pople ,we have ever heard the story of 'three cries for wolves
we have been taught to be honest when are very young
however,ae we grow up ,we find that it is hard to be honest all the time, sometimes we have to hell lies, for example, telling white lies for escaping responsibity ,we find those who are dishonesty can enjoy pleasure while honest people have suffer failure,
that is why?
i am wondering whether honesty is going out of time,
what is your view

Hello, my chinese fellow. At current stage of China, it seems dishonesty is prevalent and the whole society lack honesty. Yes, indeed dishonesty could offer us temporary convenience and advantage. But from a long-term point of view, dishoensty will lead to failure without a doubt. Just like the story "three cries for wolves" you mentioned. Remember!!! Both honest and dishonest people prefer making a deal with honest people. Whay do you say? buddy.

I think it's important to distinguish between dishonesty that hurts others and that which doesn't. I really don't think there's anything wrong with telling a salesman who comes to your house that you are eating dinner or about to take an important business call even if you aren't. You're actually being more polite by being dishonest instead of just telling him, "Go away!" and creating a conflict. You should never tell lies which will hurt others, though.

I also don't really understand why people think it is ok to lie or be dishonest. I guess they were never really taught by the older generation or because of the hard times, people tend to justify their actions in order to survive. People nowadays are no longer conscious that lying is bad, they think its nothing compared to killing or stealing.
