Just a question: Which would you prefer ...

to go out and work part-time, or to stay at home and work online? It's been difficult to keep up with bill payments and to stock the cupboard with food these days. There are many people who are into part-time jobs. I have a full-time job but also am looking into having a part-time which will be worth my time and effort, and I am also into online jobs that I could do at home. I am struggling to make a decision. How about you? Which would you prefer?

I would prefer to make money online. However,I can't see making as much online as I would with a part-time job.If I could find a way to make as much online, that would be the way I would go.Right now,I have health problems that prevent me from getting a part-time job,so online is it for now.

I am sorry to hear about your health problem. Indeed, online jobs will be better for you. There are many people here at myLot who give advice and their particular experiences about certain sites that pay. I actually got several ideas from them, like Reviewstream and Ciao, even Homepage Friends. I am quite happy with these sites. I am also happy with myLot because I learned a lot from this site. I wish you well, and thanks for your response!

hi! If I have a choice I'd rather choose to work part time. It will not take most of my time and yet I will be receiving money. with online earning, you need to have plenty of time to be able to answer surveys, post discussions or in a forum, etc. at the same time you consume electricity which will add costs to you. take care

Oh, I forgot about the electricity. That's a great thought. You're right, if let's say, I tutor a child part-time (because I'm a teacher) for two hours after work, I could not get that kind of money if I just work online. To equate the amount, I need to sit for much more than 2 hours (as I type so slow)! I wish you well, and thanks for the response!

I prefer to work from home. I like the flexibility of working whenever I want to. I am usually most productive at night. I'm too distracted during the day for some reason. I also like not having to drive somewhere to go to work. It saves a lot on gas! And it's always enjoyable being able to work in sweatpants if I want!

I agree that there are many advantages to just staying at home (to work). You don't have to worry about the gas prices, dealing with others, and which clothes to wear. As long as you don't get scammed, everything is just right. The problem is one has to choose their online jobs well. I guess it's really personal preference as to which works well with every one. I wish you well, and thanks for the response!

I prefer to do online jobs just because it is more flexible and your earnings depend on how much you do, so really they are limitless. This works better for me anyway.

I would rather go with part-time job as well! It's easier to me than paying 10 bucks to be scammed :-( Still, I know a few people who would kill themselves if they had to do a part time job, so they just work at home.

Yes, you're right, you earn more with part-time jobs than having to sit at home and type, only to be scammed. A part-time job is sure money, but of course the downside is that you easily get tired and it could take a toll on health (like lack of sleep). So, I guess it depends on personal preference. I wish you well and thanks for the response!
