Did anyone go for the Anime Festival Asia (AFA08)?I just went today and I must say it's not too bad. It can definitely be better though. Overall, my AFA08 experience is an enjoyable one. There are many different booths, some showcase anime, some feature manga and others focus on games. There is definitely something for everyone. The booth I like most is called '40th Shonen Jump Anniversay Tour'. It showcases very cool drawings of Bleach, Death Note, The Prince of Tennis and etc. Does anyone know Ichirou Mizuki? I am unfamiliar with his songs and I do not know much about him. Apparently, he is very popular among anime fans and is known as Aniki (big brother). He sang a few songs. His fans were really enthusiastic and the atmosphere was good! The only disappointing thing is that they do not sell many Plush toys. The sell mainly figurines. Among the few Plush toys they have, I did not find anything I like. There will be one more day of AFA08. If you are from Singapore or happen to be in Singapore, you should drop by Suntec Convention hall tomorrow. For more photos, do visit my anime blog. You can find it in my profile.

heh heh heh... I forgot all about the AnimeFest! Darn it! Too busy cleaning the house and attending to other errands! Would have been a great photo taking opportunity! So, bought anything there at the fest? Any entrance fee to get to the fest? Will there be another one next year?

It's the first time they are hosting in South East Asia. They change their venue every year. Next year ah.. hopefully they will come back again. I didn't buy anything. There's hardly any plush toys for me to buy. There are more figurines which I am not interested in. They sell tamagotchi too. Haha.. that makes me wonder about where my first tamagotchi went to.

ha ha ha ha... well, I sure hope they will come back the next year then. I keep telling myself to go. But other commitments took up so much of my time, I clean forgot about it! I love to go there just to see the art and the models. Been a long while since I opened a comic book or watch an anime. So really lost touch liow. The last book I remember reading was Evangelion when they first launched. I got the first cartoon collection as well. Now, they even have a movie! I am still waiting to get my hands on the movie just to see how much the story has developed!
