I love to travel. My travel out of the U.S. has been limited. Some of my favorite destinations are: Vancouver, the New England coast, the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state, the Oregon coast, Victoria, and Laguna Beach. How about you? Where are your favorite places?

My favorite cities that I have been to are Sydney, San Francisco, Prague, Budapest, Dubrovnik and Salzurg. The best countries that I have been to are Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Belize and the Seychelles. I adore visiting tropical islands and beaches, cool mountains and gorgeous looking coastlines. I like to go to new places on my travel wish list and in January I will be going to Cape Town. I can't wait because it has a mountain, wildlife and pretty beaches. In 2010 I hope to go to Vancouver, Vancouver Island and the Rocky Mountains. The USA is a lovely country and from it there are flights to the Caribbean and Central America. I hope that you will enjoy explore more parts of the world one day. Happy traveling.

Australia and New Zealand are on the top of my list as well. You'll love Vancouver. It's one of my favorite cities. Very cosmpolitan and I love places like this where I can park the car and walk everywhere. Don't miss English Bay. Vancouver Island is beautiful and another one of my favorite cities is Victoria. It's beautiful and full of tradition. A good friend spent a month in Cape Town and just got back. He can't wait to get back. Have a great time on your trip.

Just checked your profile and learned that you're from the U.K. I think that Victoria will remind you a lot of home. That's so much of what the appeal is for me. It's a little like visiting the U.K. without leaving North America.

My brother in law comes from Vancouver and so I have seen his photos. It looks like such a beautiful city and Vancouver Island would remind me of home. I have been to California three times and really loved San Francisco, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz. I am glad that your friend liked it in Cape Town so much. I can't wait until I go there in January.

It's not for everyone, but I would say Europe is high on my travel list. I likely won't get there in 2009 as I have a couple other places in the US i need to go (for weddings and the like), but I love the idea of going to Germany, France, Sweden, etc.. someday. I also love Korean food, so Korea might be another possible destination.
