Twilight: fantastic or lame?

Never read the book until my cousin said we are going to watch the movie....actually just read 20 pages.Besides that I don't love reading,just had time to read the book just a few hours before we go to the movie place.
The movie itself was pretty good for a Vampire movie.You definitely see the action plus the mixed of an enticing romance between two worlds. I won't say it was totally magnificent but certainly a movie I would definitely watch again...actually I think we will.
What would you think about it?

I've read the book, and I've seen the movie.
I view the books as light reads, something to get into when you have a few hours to while away. I don't see them as great literature or anything, but the plot was intriguing enough to make me finish the series.
As for the movie, I thought it was fun to watch. As a rule, I keep my expectations low when I watch a movie based on a book, because I always believe that moviemaking and writing are two different artforms. Still I was not disappointed, and I enjoyed the experience.
And yes, just like you, I'm going to watch it again with another friend who hadn't watch it.
