I've been using an electric one for a while and still have the tendency to brush. I think its really good when its powerful but worse and worse when the battery starts is degrading. I think I might prefer the manual. I also know the electric ones are a favorite among the kids. How about you, do you use a manual toothbrush, or electric?

Hello there! Well, an electric toothbrush is the one that uses electric power to move the bristle brushes. Mine for example, uses one double A battery inside it. Others have chargers. Basically, you don't have to brush, just move it along your teeth and it does the work. They generally make a loud buzzing noise, and the head either oscillates, vibrates, and such. After a while, you'll have to change the bristles or get a new one. If you'd like more information and a picture, please look it up online, Wikipedia it, etc.

I'm using an electric toothbrush -- Colgate's Motion. It does go through batteries quickly but I can manage the expense since I've been advised to use an electric one.
I like that its head isn't big like the manual ones for adults out there. I find that it's about the size of a kid's manual brush. That makes it easier for it to fit over and around my teeth though, so I like it. Makes use of less toothpaste too so that's good. :D

I am using a manual toothbrush. I've never used an electronic one and not planning to use it in the near future. I am using a manual one simply because it is cheaper.

I use a manual toothbrush. I still believe that good old fashioned scrubbing is the best way to keep your pearly whites sparkly. If you do use an electric toothbrush, it is important to teach kids and make yourself brush all areas of the teeth and gums! And, no matter which brush you use, don't forget to floss!

I stil prefer using a manual toothbrush. I'm not comfortable using the electronic toothbrush in the market. Manual tootbrush also help me save some money from buying batteries =)
