what are you going to pray for this coming new year?

soon 2008 will bid goodbye and we will all welcome a fresh new year with a big bang.... as always. i am not asking for what are your wishes... (well maybe that answer would be the same) i am asking is what are you going to pray for this coming new year. i think it would be more fulfilling to get what we want through prayers and of course for working hard.

Well I just pray that things would be better next year , economic wise...and world peace. cheesy I know..but yeah, it wouldn't harm to pray for something like that.
Personally, I would pray that I could still get to keep my job and for good health. ^_^

some might think it is cheesybut for me what you are going to pray for is what we all need around the world. economic wise and world peace. personal prayer to keep your job andfor a good health is a prayer that is very good as well. i think if the economy will boost up we are all going to keep our jobs. thanks for the response.

hugs you back little owl. yes i hope this recession that has hit each and everyone of us will be recovered, hope we can surpass it all. a step at a time little by little. i believe that prayers can move mountains, thats why we pray. thanks for the response

World Peace!!!... well, i would also pray for the good health of my family... especially my daughter... and that i would remain to be happy with my current life... i may not have a lot of money... but i feel so much content right now... and i hope that will continue on next year and the years to come...

who would not pray for world peace.... this is the only place we live in and we all wanted peace. i hope that we would have peace in the world, in our hearts and in our minds. nice to hear that you are contented with your life, i can say that i am too. thanks for the response.

2009 is just round the corner and everyone will be gearing upto welcoming it. 2008 has been pretty bad what with the global economy taking a bashing and plunging everything into a crisis.People have and are losing jobs and those lucky ones who still have them are taking paycuts plys losing their perks. Wars acrooss the world have also caused much bloodshed, diseases have spread far and wide and global warming is causing a lot of harm to the fragileecology of our planet.
I would pray to God that in the next year all these things would be reversed and i hope some miracle would take place so that the sufferings of humanity would diminish and everyone could live a life filled with peace,harmony,well-being,good health and monetarily satisfied.

very well said veejay, not just the economy but also war has made the 2008 very popular. too much snow on some other country, too much rain on some and too much heat on others. i hope next year, the year of the ox will be a peaceful and a fruitful one. thanks for the response

welcome to mylot hope you like it here like most of us do. i think most of the responders would be praying for the same things. peace and good health. yes i will be praying though i always do pray for my moms long life. my dad passed away 13 years ago so we only have one parent. thanks for the response
