No defienetly not..download accelerator does not affect your computer at all..it actually takes the power of your RAM and pulls in a lot of speed from the internet provider so there would be no problem if you have a download accelerator,but if you have a very old computer say pentium2 then there could be a problem since these computers are not designed for handling download accelerator..

It will not damage your ram but it will make your computer work too slow because of Download Accelerator's high requirements for ram. To solve this, you need to have a computer with high ram installed like 1gig or more.

I think using a high quality download accelerator would not affect your computer or RAM.I think that using download accelerator helps us in downloading files from internet very easily.I have tried every download accelerator and i found only few of them are good ones.I think Download Accelerator Plus(DAP) is the best one among all the available accelerators.It will definitely increase your download speed to a great extent.I have a browsing speed of 2 Mbps and downloading speed of 256 Kbps but when i download a file through DAP,then it gives a download speed of above 300 Kbps.It is really a good accelerator and sometimes it gives download speed of above 350 Kbps.I am still using it and i download large files in a lesser time.You can download it and install it very easily,it has no trial period.Just install a free version and increase your download speed very easily.

Hi frnds, download accelarator will not affect the computer.And doesn't damage the RAM while download process.By just your computer and internet speed will come slow and not be that much fast.No problem will be their for your computer.The download accelarator takes the speed of RAM. Happy day

well, as far as i know, i don't think so it would affect the RAM because it doesn't use much big RAM...

i really wouldn't recommend this to you. just try to contact your dsl provider if they can increase your speed.
