I am a medical transcriptionist. I love my job since it is challenging and it is never boring since you get to learn something everyday. This is the job that I look forward to going to everyday and I am very thankful for it. To all fellow MTs out there, what can you say about being an MT?

Actually, we transcribe medical reports as dictated by physicians. It is a very rewarding career in that the more experience you have in the job, the higher your market value, say like a span of 2 years or more since a knowledgeable MT is highly priced. I get to learn new medical terminologies each day since you get to transcribe different reports every day. It is kind of a difficult job in the beginning for me considering that I am not a medical or an allied medical course graduate, but eventually with hard work and interest in the job and with experience of course, the job is a little bit easy for me now.
