i too have the same problem as you.i also find it hard to control my temper.what i actually do when that happens is that i try to stay away from people for a while and try to tell myself to be calm.i really try hard to tell myself that i should keep myself from feeling this way otherwise,i might be able to offend somebody or something.and when i'm calm and composed, that's the time i will mingle once again with the people around me.

Take an anger management course, meditate, get to know yourself better and what your triggers are. Be aware of them. Work to pick your battles.

I am not very good at controlling my temper, but I am trying. When I get angry or hurt I tend to shout at the people I love and I always regret it later on. I wish I was better at controlling myself and I am working on it because I really want to change this bad habit. And how do you change it? I try to control myself by thinking about the people I hurt. Sometimes I manage to stop myself, but not as often as I wish, so I still have work on it.

I am someone that gets miserable very fast and I take out my frustration on anyone and everyone, but to control myself I lock up in my room and keep far from the rest until everything has pasted away.

hello fried...
well, i usually control my temper within me because i won't get angry that much but sometimes i will... so, what i do to control my temper is, i will do the things i like such as listening to music, watching tv, playing games on my PSP, surfing the net, posting some topics here at mylot, go out with a friend, talk with a friend, read a book, sleep or i just bang onto something... lol... that's how you control your temper... if you follow the good way of controlling temper, you might getting more cooler than getting it more high temper...

of course... temper can be controlled by none other than you... you must first make yourself calm and composed and at times, talk to your inner mind.try to concentrate upon a spot in your forehead, bring a pressure and relax. this is the best way to control temper and this is called as relaxation therapy in psychology. effective meditation also works...

That is nor good thing and nor bad. This is Your temper and You should not try to control it too much. We can not change our tempers.
But just make sure that Your temper does not become an obstacle and a head ache for other people, because otherwise: they don`t mind if You are over excited or over depressed. Only when it comes up to be their problem as well, but this happens rarely.
The people that I respect and adore the most are those who remain trustful to their temper, however hard it is. I have a friend who is all the time complaining about something, but otherwise- she is cute, and it does not bother me. I accepted her as it is, and sometimes it gets even fun to be close to her and watch the process of complaining and anger.
And another person who gets angry very quickly. What did You say? How dare You? Did You insult me? -but this is just another type of temper and character that people can not change. We can only accept it, or avoid it.
