Creating a mylot guide

I am creating a mylot guide to post on my blog and to send to any future referrals. It will be either a movie or a powerpoint slideshow. It is going to mainly pictures with labels. Do you have any advice for me? What do you think I should include in the guide? So far I have taken screenshots of almost every section of mylot and now I have to organize and label them. I will post it on my blog when I am done, but in the mean time, feel free to provide me with any ideas or advice. Thanks!

Well that's really creative. I hope your presentation will turn out nice. Anyway, I think you should include basic information such as how you get paid, how much you can earn on average, and examples of topics that are being discussed. If it's a guide to make people want to join, then be sure to write that mylot is a trusted site. i don't know you will present this r what picture you can use for this though maybe a proof of payment?

I hope so too! Thanks everyone for the feedback! I will make sure to try and post it here so you guys can give me some more feedback! I did not think about all those important aspects of mylot! I will have to include them in my guide! I will also include my payment proof as I have $9.30 and hope to be paid before the new year starts. What I will do is have a pictorial guide explaining the layout of mylot. Then I will have another section with more pictures (of things like discussions, interests, profile, friends lists, PM, earnings, referrals, etc.) teaching them how to earn and be successful at mylot! Thanks again everyone for the great feedback!

Maybe we could help each other out. How are you planning to create your guide? Mine is more of a walkthrough on how to use mylot than how to earn on mylot. What will you be focusing on in your guide? Please share your thoughts and plans.

Hi snam! Great idea and I'm so pleased you are enjoying myLot enough to want to help others. I suggest that among your tips you also tell people to avoid responding on discussions which are already violating the rules as they will earn nothing at all. An example could be a 'milestone' discussion where a user says he has reached a certain number of posts. The whole thing will be deleted eventually so no use in responding. There are many examples I could give you but if users are familiar with the Guidelines they will recognise them for themselves. Good luck and happy posting!

I am enjoying myLot very much and wish other people **cough**referrals**cough** could enjoy it as much as I do. I thought of making this guide for my referrals but why limit it to just them? I will make sure everyone who wants access to my guide will have one. (Probably in a PDF so people cannot change my guide!) I think I will include two sections; one called the Anatomy of myLot and the other called How to Earn at myLot. I will be sure to include your advice in the How to Earn area. That is very good advice that I will also take. Thank you for your feedback and support! I think with all this great support, I will have to include a Thank You page with all the people on myLot who helped out!

a good idea!when you complete your guide i will go to your blog to see this creative work.hehe,ye,many newbie will thank you very much.and you will get more refferals through that creative work. i think you had better make a video about how to use mylot and how to earn money on mylot.it will be better if you have the conditions.right?of course what you have said is already very good. i found your earning had reached 9.3 dollars ,ye,nearly reaching its minimum payout of mylot.congratulations.

I am also hoping that it will bring more referrals. I think I will take your suggestion and make a video so that it is easy to watch but also for copyright purposes also. I have reached the minimum payout, exceeding it by 20 cents, so I will have to include the payment proof from myLot when I receive it in December.
