Unfortunately, I am always late.LOL.,except last November 4...I attached my picture in the airport being 4 hours (I think) early...
My family always end up as photo finish passengers.Oh I dont know,no matter how early we start, we will still be running to beat the last call.
My husband always travel business class...if he is with us,the kids pester me that we have to be at the airport early because they want to stay at the VIP lounge...but we never make it there. When I travel alone,I fly economy...no VIP treatment so...no VIP treatment especially with the luggage.
In the picture I attached,I travelled with my 2 kids...we were so early that,I wanted to sleep in those benches...wish I could.
That is at the Ninoy International airport and we arrived early because it was a connecting flight from Bangkok to Manila to Davao.
How about you? Do you see to it that you are very early? I hope you do,as it can be very stressing and inconvenient to be late...my husband usually dont make it to his flights and has to pay for a no show all the time. So I call him Mr. No Show.

I usually arrive at the airport about one hour earlier than the check in desk is likely to be open. It would be so stressful to be late and to miss my flight. One time I was traveling with my older son when he was 5 years old. The London Underground's Circle train took ages to arrive and it made us arrive late at the mainline train station in London. It was a stopping at all stations slow train and so we arrived at the airport late. We only just made it to check in on time. There wasn't enough time to get foreign currency. We didn't get a window seat for me quite annoying. Amazingly there wasn't an currency exchange bureau at the small airport in Sardinia. I had to exchange a small amount of money to get to the town our accommodation was in.
I arrived at Tel Aviv Airport early but had to stand in a long line of people. Then I was given an interview about what I had been doing and where I had been staying. Well I had visited Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Eilat, Aqaba and Petra so the officer was suspicious of me. They told me to a room and did a detailed search of my luggage. In the end they let me go because I was just and still am an innocent traveler. I almost missed my flight but that wasn't my fault. Early is so much better than late.

If I am traveling locally, then it's usually about an hour or an hour and a half early. That is the requirement anyway. With international flights, with so much security screening nowadays, I usually arrive at the airport, about three hours early. I don't want to miss my flight just because I am still on the security screening sites.
