Christmas season is fast approaching and people who celebrate this holiday makes the effort to buy or create their own Christmas decors. Though, the most important of them all is none other than the Mighty Christmas Tree. Almost every household has it, because it kinda make the spirit of the season alive and burning. The balls, glitters, lights that are wrapped around it, brings brightness and excitement to all of us especially to our children. What about you? Do you have a Christmas Tree in your house? When do you usually put it up?

We have a tree that we've had for over 30 years. Every year we think about getting a new one with all the lights on it but after looking at them and the price, we think ours isn't so bad after all lol. We usually put ours up either Fri or Sat after Thanksgiving and then we take it down around New Years.

Wow that's cool. 30 years is a very long time. Thanks for sharing.

I like the way you think. :) I bet the prices these days are outrageous. :) 30 years is a long time. :) I bet it is a very well-loved Christmas tree.

We usually put the Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving. I have to work from 8am to noon that morning though so don't know if I will have time to get it up that day might wait until the weekend as I have to rearrange the living room to get the tree up.

Hi
as soon as my kids start seeing the decorations in the shops they want to put our tree up so we all agreed that we would put our tree and decorations up on December 1st, i would rather leave it a bit later myself but the kids love it!!!
I bought a new tree last year, its white and all my decorations for it are red, my presents are wrapped in red wrapping paper so it all matches!!!
I like to put small gifts inside the trees branches as a little something extra....nothing expensive, everyone gets the same thing, last year it was a pair of socks!!! This year....im not sure yet, im thinking about making some christmas cookies, wrapping them in clear wrap and hanging them on.....I dont know we'll have to see how I feel!!!
i also have quite a few christmas plush figures.....santa, snowmen reindeers etc that are on stands and look really cute!!!
hugs
Jessica

I have a Christmas tree. I have had the same one for many years. And I have the same decorations. Although I will buy new ornaments every once in a while to spice things up. :) I usually put it up the day after Thanksgiving. I never know when I might take it down. It seems Scrooge-like to take it down on December 26th. ;) So I might try to wait until New Year's Eve to take it down. But by then I am feeling lazy and don't want to go to all that work. ;) But I don't want it up all year long, so if I get a feeling that I will be lazy on New Year's Eve, then I will be a Scrooge and just take it down on December 26th. *LOL*
