I cannot listen to music and do revision at the same time. I feel that the music will attract my attention and I will not be able to concentrate on my revision. Some people like to do revision while listening to music but I am not able to do so.
I need to study in quiet place. So that I can concentrate 100% on my study.
What about you? What is your study habits?

I always turn on the music while I'm reading, studying or working. I can really concentrate on my studies or work, though the music is on. When I am really concentrating, I can actually filter the outside. Sometimes the music lets me think better too. I'm fine with studying in a noisy place, coz if I really want to be concentrating, I can do it.

Sometimes I will listen to music while I'm studying. But if I listen to music, I'll put my earphones on. For some reason, that seems to help me focus a little more. I'm not entirely sure why, but that's the way it is. but it's not something I do all the time.

Most of my friends do that. They listen to music while studying. Don't know y but I have never been successful on that. I'm a music freak. When I listen to songs I really get drifted away by music and keep humming. Which will finally end up in lack of concentration on my studies. So,I never listen to music while studying or revising. Will end up doing nothing fruitful then
Cheers

yeah i find it weird when i see people reading with earphones on their ears. i find music distracting when i'm studying, i usually end up singing, dancing & performing trying to look like a rockstar with a broom or a pussycat doll in pajamas whenever music is on. i'd like to be in a quiet place without people walking around whenever i'm studying because really i'm easily distracted.

Well, when it comes to studying, I want to be in a quiet place too because I am the type that can't concentrate in a noisy environment. But when i am working, I love to listen to music. I feel good working listening to music. I sometimes sing with it and I love it.

Hi
I normally listern to music when I doing my revision. This is because when I doing my revision, too silent may just make me cannot concentrate and make me feel bored. If got music around, sometime I even sing when doing revision. Then I can remember the thing during I sing that song. Haha. For some people music is irretating them.

i think it's okay to listen to music and study as long as it is not too loud. keep it soft like background music. also choose songs that are light to the ears, not heavy metal or stuff like that

In addition, someone once told me that if you study and listen to a song at the same time, you will end up remembering the lyrics of the song instead of what you were studying!!
Although I have heard that listening to classical music is supposed to boost your studying 'power'....
