what to do if parents\family members are against earning on the net??

My mom also don't trust net people give advices don't waste time on internet. don't strain your eyes and some people even ask what kinda job you do on internet. I get very irritated some times. Okay but i am atleast trying to earn. I hate when people compare that that girl earn so much and you are sitting on net whole day and still don't earn instead are increasing our electricity bills
