Who was more scarier? Freddy Kruger or Jason Voorhees?

Who do you think was more scarier, Freddy Kruger or Jason Voorhees, or was there another villian you were more scared of? If you don't remember, Freddy is the one who wears a claw on his hand and his face is all wrinkly. Jason is the one with a hockey mask on because his face is too hideous to see and he always yields a sword.

Of the two you mention I would go with Freddy as being scarier. For me, at least. I never much got into the Jason movies, so that may be part of it. I remember once, a lot of years back, I was home alone one weekend, had a long weekend and did not have to work. My housemates were both gone for the weekend as well. I decided to rent all of the Freddy movies on video (I thin this was back when there were 3 or 4) and watch them all. At once. I spent the rest of the night sitting on the edge of my bed not being able to sleep.
I guess that was not the smartest thing for me to do.

ya not the best thing to do right before sleep.
I would be freaked and think the what if he gets into my dreams .
movies that are based on something true have always got the best of me .

i would definitely say Freddy. Jason, the people could at least hide from him or whatever. but freddy was in their dreams - you couldn't sleep!

That is very true. Jason is very slow and you could run away from him in most cases but hope you don't get caught because he won't let go. I remember that movie where Freddy got in that girls dreams so she tried to stay awake but she couldn't, so she tried to escape through her windows but it was barred down.

When I was a kid Freddy always freaked me out . Even now as older it is just the thought to get into dreams . You just cant run from him, ya know what I mean? LOL. I actually enjoyed the movie with both of them in it!
