I do not find it hard at all. I go to school full time and I work part time. That's the key to balancing work and school. If you go to school full time, then work part time. If you work full time, then go to school part time. I know a lot of people who tried to do both full time and had to end up dropping out.

It is really tough managing both at the same time. But I would say - it is very WORKABLE!
A couple of years back, i started Management while working and I was able to earn the degree. Next, i started with MBA and finished last october 2008.
tough but workable.
i am planning to take up another course or push through wigh PhD.
Good day!

Yes, I find that sometimes it is difficult to manage being in college and having a job. If you're living in the college dorms or with your parents and don't have to worry so much about paying the rent or the utilities, it's a lot easier, but if you're living on your own it gets tough. Some people that I go to school with seem to have endless reserves of energy, and they deal with being in college and having a job just fine. Some of them are also involved in campus activities, volunteer work, sports, and other things. I have no idea how they find the time. Then again, I haven't seen their grades- they may only be spending enough time on their schoolwork to pass with C's. I don't know. But I do struggle sometimes with finding the time to get my schoolwork done or to spend time with my husband, who is also in school and has a job. But just because it's hard doesn't mean it isn't possible.

Nope. I am a full time student who only takes one class. My classes are from 8 am to noon Mon-Thursdays and I only work weekends. I think that's a great deal if you ask me. I am also a care-giver helping people in hospitals and nursing homes, and I'm studying to become a Medical Assistant. Like I said, It's all good! =D
