Yes, MyLot keeps discussion on here for a long time. If you wish for an old discussion to be removed. All you have to do is ask them and provide a link to which discussion. That is what I did and within 24 hours they had them propmtly removed. I have alot of interest. I try and post in all of them. But it is hard because I have so many. There does seem to be a few interest groups that I post more in than others. I think that is what others are doing as well. They tend to pick a few interest and post in them most of the time. Or in general.

I recive all the responses members have left as comments on my discussions in my email. So, I will not loose any and can keep up with them. It easier for me to do this. Otherwise I fear I would miss something. It also saves me time from looking at each post I created to see if someone relpied. It saves me time.

You learn something new everyday. Thanks for the information rusty2rusty. I wasn't aware that you could close down threads on myLot.
Another reason members might stick to just a few interests could be because it's easier to track your posts and responses and it can cut down on time spent online. When discussions are interesting, I can find myself posting a lot or following off on tangents. Some days I need to limit my discussion time because I am busy doing work or other things.
