this is for anyone out there who wants to get prayer a little faster, but doesn't want to constantly use their (or someone elses) gilded altar.
you do not need to e high lvled to do this, but there are requirements.
you will need to do:
priest in peril and ghosts ahoy.
you will need to wear your ghost speak amulet.
priest in peril is needed to get into the mortanya region and ghosts ahoy is needed for the ectophial (a teleport to the ectofuntus).
you will need pots, buckets and bones, and to make it even faster you will need lots of duel rings.
First method: all walking (slower).
go to the ectofuntus with buckets only, go down the trapdoor to the east and fill your buckets with slime (bank and repeat for as many buckets as you have.
if you have the ectophial, always keep it with you, it saves lot of run nergy if you teleport from the bank back to the ectofuntus.
next, take 13 pots and 13 bones (if you can summon a spirit terrorbird [52 summoning] you can take 19 bones and 19 pots). grind all your bones in the grinder upstairs at the ectofuntus, repeat until you have as many pots of bonemeal as you do buckets of slime.
lastly, take out 13 bonemeal pots and 13 slime and tleport to the ectofuntus and pray at it, remember to collect your tokens from the deciples to empty the ectofuntus.
Second method: duel rings.
same as above, but instead of banking at port phantymis, teleport to castlewars for all banking, your run will always be on and never run out.
the ectofuntus gives a rate of 4 times the ammount to prayer that burying a bone normally would.
if you choose to use a beast of burden (like the terrorbid) you can only use it for the bone grinding stage as summonses can't carry either buckets of slime or pots of bonemeal.

i don't have a guilded altar (only 69 construction) and don't like the idea of pestering people for the use of theirs, so ectofuntus is the best thing available to me at the moment.
shades aren't something that really interest me atthe moment as i am trying not to get too much combat exp (my payer lags quite a bit in comparison to my melee/mage and range).

it's a defnate must try for members, and sorry that you can't do this currently.
but do't worry too much about only having 46 prayer, i et a vl 103 once (before summoning came out and messed up lvls) and he said he had 23 prayer.
at least you are trying to get your prayer lvls :)

sorry about the spelling errors... my keyboard is playing me up (i am having to type very slowly to get it right).
that is supposed to say "don't worry" and "i met a lvl 103".

Duh? Okay, thanks for that. But I am comfortable with my daily prayer. I am used to it already.

mmm, you do know that this is a prayer guide for a game called runescape that is played by millions...
