My distant aunt was rush to the hospital last week due to a bathroom accident, her back was swollen although no broken bones whatsoever but what really remain was the pain that she could not hardly breath...due to this her attending physician prescribed her a medicine ( and it turned out that she was overdose)and i guess its strong enough for her since she had been experiencing side effects on which the doctor had prescribed as temporary pyschotic disorder and she cant recognize anymore her daughter..after a week.. when the drug was flush through her system...shes back in her normal self....what about you guys do you think on cases like this we can file a complaint to the Head of the Hospital regarding the doctor's negligence if we can call it or maybe mal practice or something? have you ever known somebody with same case...?

I have heard of something like this...but it was the patients fault for not informing the doctor that he was on another med which reacted with the one prescribed. I would check out the whole situation first before I did any complaint filing....to make sure that she understood the prescription etc.

Hello vanities. I am so sorry for what happened to your distant aunt. Well, I used to have a fall in my small bathroom and I got my butt so badly hurt. It took me almost a week to remove the pain. I did not take or use any medicine, but let it get well naturally. Good day, friend.

Hello vanities,
I am not too sure about it but it's very clear that this was caused by the doctor's negligence when he attended to her. I didn't understand why the doctor didn't check her carefully. There was a case here where a baby's right hand was amputated as the young doctor wrongly injected her. The doctor resigned voluntarily and admitted her mistake. The parents still file a complaint as the baby girl needs to live without a right hand.

You should have them look into a slip resistant solution to fix those slippery floors such as www.slipdoctors.com It worked wonders on my slippery tiles for my shower and kitchen.

I think that you can sue her physician. He is supposed to know her weight and height and give the medicine according to those criteria. The only reason he cannot be sued is if she or her caregiver neglected to tell him of any other medications she may have taken. I would say get in touch with the Head of the Hospital right away.

hi vanities.I dont understand how some people can be so irresponsible.why dont they understand their responsibility.some days before this too happened with my niece her finger was injured and it would have been if stitches was given .but the dr didnt do that and when she went next day to the dr , due to the carelessnes of the nurse it was more affected and then she was taken to other dr.that dr also said that it was that dr's carelssness.I really hate such people who dont know their responsibilities.
happy mylotting and have a nice time
