Porridge, made with rolled oats and water. Yes, very healthy, good for you stomach, lowers cholesterol, gives you energy all day. Sometimes kippers, (Smoked fish) full of omega oil complexes shown to reduce diseases. Kedgeree, (spiced rice, egg and fish) Occasionally, full English breakfast (Vegetarian sausages, scrambled egg, vegetarian bacon, fried tomatoes, fried mushrooms, baked beans, toast) not so healthy but delicious all the best urban

I usually have bacon and eggs for breakfast. I am not concerned with eating "healthy" foods, so I don't know if this breakfast is considered healthy or not. I tend to eat a lot of things that supposedly are bad for you, but they taste good and I like them 58 years and still going strong, must be something healthy about junk foods

I don't think bacon is healthful if you have it everyday.

I'm trying to eat healthy and eating breakfast is part of it. I actually just started a thread asking for suggestions for healthy breakfast ideas. For now, I usually have whole wheat toast with peanut butter and a piece of fruit for breakfast. On my days off, I try to have eggbeaters with toast, and a piece of fruit. I think its healthy enough, but I'm looking for more ideas or variety.

Previously, I will drink a glass of milk after I wake up. Then, I always have a cup of coffee every morning in the office, before I started working. Sometimes, a few slices of bread with margarine to make myself more full. As I'm pregnant now, I have to stop drinking coffee. Every morning, I'll drink a glass of maternity milk, then follow by a few slices of bread with margarine too. I think it's quite healthy, except for the coffee.

On week days I have one slice of whole wheat toast with a cup of coffee followed by another cup of coffee and then I have a banana followed by a glass of non-fat milk so I guess that is relatively healthy if a little light on protein. On Sat. I have scrambled eggs(2), one piece of toast and a couple of cups of coffee. On Sun. I have pancakes with some oat bran added to the mix and several cups of coffee. Taken all together it is a fairly healthy weekly breakfast.

During working days, I hardly have time for breakfast, just a cup of hot coffee. Then I am out of the house, trying to beat the morning traffic. It's only during the weekends, that I can have a proper breakfast (if I can wake up early enough). I would have toasted bread, butter, hardboiled or fried eggs, streaky bacon, and a cup of hot coffee. If we are going out to the morning market, then I could have noodles, pancakes or porridge.

I usually don't breakfast, which isn't healthful! But when I do, I normally have just like a bagel or toaster streudal with orange juice. Or other times, I may have breakfast. Anything I can find to devour in 15 minutes. But thats on the weekdays. On weekends I normally have very full and healthy breakfasts. Sometimes, soup, rice porridge, anything that suits my appetite.
