Happens that I was talking to a friend in miami, hes from cuba and he was telling me about the acceptance of other cultures in that area and in america in general. Now i dont know what is the situation over there, but I do know that the british are very bitter about the whole EU comunity and coming over this country, Now im nt part od the EU or the british community, but i do feel the bitternes in them somehow it reflects. Personaly I never had an unwelcome greeting but because my english and my looks are not revealing, and as soon as the foreigners topic comes, the row begins, I dont feel ofended but i do feel unconfortable, because i feel part of the community even if i wasnt born here, also I work like anyother erson and I pay my taxes, now what do you think?

My answer to the question on different cultures entering my country is yes, I am in favour. We can understand better about other cultures if we have the opportunity to interact with them. Allowing them to settle in the country is one way of doing it. Having lived in the UK for eight years I can understand the bitterness of some British against immigrants. They argued that the immigrants are taking away their jobs. In reality many of the coloured immigrants took low paying jobs which the English refused to take. As an example during my time there a person can earn more living on social security rather than being a student nurse.
The problem with present day immigrants in my country is their disrespect to local cultures and laws. Many of them commit crimes because they wanted to become rich. Many crimes have been carried out by foreigners in Malaysia. They are always armed and do not hesitate to kill. They segregate themselves into their own communities and expect the locals to respect and think highly of them while they spit on ours.
As long as immigrants work and protect the country, I am in favour of them. On the other hand I do not accept the negative aspects.

complitely agree with you there to the fact of both disrespect to this country's cultures and the other that inmigrants are the ones that do the unwanted jobs that often the citizens of this country dont want to do and rather sit and live off the pension scheme, but thats the minority, now we cant generalised but I think the big clash is about diversity of cultures in a same place is not being accepted too well, still there is long way to go in educating both inmigrants and citizens.

I believe in the adage of UNITY IN DIVERSITY.
I feel that so long as the entering mass is not violating any social norm and legalities, they are free to enter, pwerpetuate.
Te process of amalgamation gives a variety to your culture as well.
