faye wong,a chinese female singer.her amazing voice beating my soul. she is my favourite singer. if you know her,please tell me. if you wanna know,also tell me. i want to share her with all of you

Hey, I'm Faye Wong! haha....ok, just my avatar. I love her. I used to sing one of her songs in Chinese but it has been a long time and i've forgotten the lyrics already. Besides i couldn't understand what i was singing. lol I like her being calm and "i don't care" attitude on rumors about her. I like the way she sings. She's beautiful and I wish I had her height. She's pretty tall. I am a fan of hers so I named my youngest daughter Faye also :)

Hi, yes my youngest daughter's name is Faye. I didn't know that Faye Wong used Shirley too as her name but Chinese often changes their english names so i'm not surprised. I know that her chinese name is wong, jing-wen. I like her music videos too.

u called your youngest daughter Faye? sounds cool. and do u know that before "faye",she used to "shirly".in chinese "wong jingwen". her grandpa is out standing also.

Well, Faye (or Fei) is a beautiful name even aside from the great singer! When I moved to China, she was the first singer I discovered that I really liked. I admit I don't like all of her music -- the slow ballads that most Chinese people prefer are not my favorites. I like her "strange" music from the mid-90s, when she was doing Cranberries and Tori Amos songs and her original material was just as cool.

she is changefully .sometimes just like a little girl with pure mien and clear voice.but sometimes her song may shock me so badly.she has faye's style.i dont know how to describe her exactly.maybe you can try to listen her songs.

I agree. Wang Fei (as she is known in mainland China) is the greatest Chinese pop singer of all time -- sorry Teresa Teng (Deng Lijun) fans!. She is also an interesting actress, with several quirky roles (such as in Chungking Express). My favorite Faye songs are the things she did in the mid-90s influenced by the Cranberries and Cocteau Twins. I think her early records (when she used the name Shirley Wong) are quite boring in spite of her lovely voice. Some of her newer music, like Only Love Strangers, is very good. I wish she would come out of retirement and give us some more beauty in our world!
