Okay I don't claim to be the best Fist of Guthix player, but with 15,225 rating, I have seen a lot of variety. The game is designed for a random selection of two people to fight each other. The goal of the game is to get the highest amount of charges in the match as the hunted. The hunter, or your person your going against it to kill you in how ever means possible. ( biting, pulling hair, and self- destructing is off limit's sorry ^^). First a couple of facts about the game, if you are a new player at the Fist of Guthix. Fact 1: The max charge that is possible to get is 5,000 charges. THis takes about 15 minutes at the center of the Fist of Guthix. The Fist of Guthix is basically wher eall the energy in the room goes to. Fact 2: You may want to have at least 37 prayer, because the majority of the players in today's Fist of Guthix train's magic. Pro's and Con's of Fist of Guthix: One good pro is that if you are not one to make your own runes by the runecraft skill, or if you are not one to buy your runes, which in the long run can become quite expensive( at least as a nonmember lol). So what do you do? You go to the Fist of Guthix, you get free runes. The two kinds of runes there are used as your elementals( fire, earth, air, water) and the other rune is used as your combat runes ( wave,blasts,bolts,strikes). In member Fist of Guthix, you have the power to use even the other magicks like...Ancients!( woot). The game is factored to have a variety of players. There you will see many pures, so beware. Fist of Guthix play time: Normally as a 85 combat (me) I can kill someone in about an average of 300- 800 charge length( depends on level, how annoying they are in their strategy and so forth). Most lower levels will get paired with the high levels, which is really a good thing, but I don't know why they complain about it. Fist of Guthix Tokens: After you win a game ( or lose) you get tokens, which can be used at Reggie's for special Fist of Guthix item's ( like the greatly sought after dragon gauntlets, or the shark gloves). What to Wear to the Fist of Guthix: The game allows you to sue all three forms of combat, so there is no harm in fighting it all out. From experience I would reccomend one of the following outfits. Outfit 1 ( note; this is just for free to play I am not a member so am not versed in the art of member fist of guthix) head: rune med helm Body: green dhide body Legs: Green dhide chaps( monk bottom) Amulet: Strenght amulet, or holy symbol Cape: your choice ring: explorer ring weapon: rune 2h, rune scinitar, maple bow/ adamant + steel arrows , and a staff of any kind. This outfit can be varied soemtimes, this is what i mostly use bedcause it is not too heavy and not too hard to run in. Fist of Guthix Tips: Depending on the level if you want to win no matter what there are two ways that you could get more charges. Rocks: there are rocks in various places near the center. go around the rocks if they are using melee combat. House: there are some who will go inside or around the house. I dont recccomend this tip because you take from 2-6 damage per time you enter the house. If you go around you are wasting time, but better chance of tiring out your enemy. Distance: Considering the more charges the better, make it so the person who is killing you stays as far away as he can be possibly while attacking you. For example, a mage attacks you go around the house and come back to center after he attacked you again at house so that way he is at house and you are back at the center. Fist of Guthix Tip Defence: Tired of those annoying newbs running? If they house you what i reccomend is either of the two following combo's Range: just range them to death Melee/mage combo: pull out the 2h( that is why i said bring one) and 2h then mage when they move. If they are housing you what do you do? Range: just range them to death Melee: when you see that noob put all your prayer up on full blast and just chop them down not much else you can do. As you can see I did not give many hints for mage, this is because in nonmembers mage isn't really worth it, you can mage with fire blast and do 16's but most likely people will be prepared for that. Fist of Guthix Money time?: You really don't make much money from Fist of Guthix. I suppose in member Fist of Guthix there is some money flow, considering it is Dragon Gaunts and stuff, but in nonmember it is not worth much. Rune gaunts are like 70k Currently, so if you just like the game you can make some money, it is not the best but it is somewhat good. Maybe half of the flow from someone woodcutting schedule.
