you cant list what way you want your paypal payments to be backed up by.. now i have never asked in any of my listings in the past or now but i had thought about it before because if they use a credit card through paypal you have to upgrade your paypal account and get charged fees to ACCEPT that money.. to me i would think that we should be allowed to specify and if that made our things not sell as well then oh well!! what about people that are just trying to sell something 1 time to test out how ebay works and then they get paid that way and have to upgrade everything? you can have your account down graded 1 time but if it gets upgraded again its permanent!!
i hope my friend that is just now trying to sell something on ebay that is using a paypal account that isnt upgraded doesnt sell her 1st thing to where she has to upgrade!! he may decide that the paypal fees arent worth it!

You should look into selling on Craigslist.com. From what I hear it's free. It's like selling things to people on the street. You wait for someone to email you about your item and you sell it to them up front. It is risky, and I wouldn't suggest meeting someone at night. But I'm going to do this my self since I have some things I want to sell. My neighbor told me he made almost $1000 selling hid old stuff out of his garage. He told me the money is all yours, and the website is free. All you do is create an account and sell your item. I think ebay will loose alot of their customers who sell on their website in the furture because of the whole paypal issue. Ebay owns paypal, and from what I hear in the future they are going to make it so that the only way you can shop on ebay is if you have a paypal account. As a buyer it doesn't affect me because I have a paypal acount. I think unless you are a power seller or have your own store to the point where you are making at least a few extra hundred dollars a month, selling on ebay seems like it's a pain to deal with. There are other websites out there that you can sell things on like Amazon.com. The thing with ebay is that they are so known around the world that everyone uses them for just about everything. I hope in the future that people find other ways to get around the whole ebay and paypal crap and drive that company out of business.
