Will Indian team win World Cup?

The question is unpredictable. I think we cannot say anything now. For example, I guess Yuvraj Singh and Gautham Gambhir are in the form of their life right now. But we cannot assure that they will be in the same form in 2011. I think almost the same team played in the 2007 world cup. But we all know what happened. Just a while back to 2007 world cup, India played an amazing one day series against sri lanka and dominated them in the one day series where Robin Uthapha but shined. But what happened after that? Like I said, its an unpredictable thing. We cannot be sure of in what mind set the Indian players gonna be at 2011 nor we can say whether the same team would play it. Cricket is all about application. On the day, application is important. A team should able to adopt to various situations and give its full on the day. So whichever team do that, is gonna win the world cup as far as I am as concerned.

I think it is far too early to say if they will or not as the next world cup is not until 2011. India have a strong team just now but will they still be as strong in just over 2 years time? Will Sachin still be around? Will they have all their top players injury free? You can be sure that Australians will come back strong as they detest getting beat in any sport.

i think current indian team can win the world cup 2011. sehvag, gambhir, raina and yuvi give good start. while dhoni is reliable batsman. uthappa and yusuf pathan give smashing finishing at end. we have good bowlers also. they can pick up early wickets. save runs and fielding is also good.

As of India see the unofficial World No. 1. If you arrange the world cup right now, India will win all the matches right from round robin upto the finals. World Cup is still far far away. If India is successful in retaining the same form for that much long time, India surely will be the next World Champions, as they are now in the T20. Let's hope the man at the helm - M S Dhoni - keeps creating magic after magic after magic. If his magic works then all the Pontings and Pietersens and such other people will be thrown out of the cricketing world. Hope its not Australia again. We are now pretty board of that country and its immature and unpopular cricketers.

India can win world cup only if they continue this form..One thing we have to remember that India won the matches against australia and england only in india.They will not play like this outside India.We have seen this many times.Now yuvraj and sehwag are in good form and nobody else were not in form.If both of them got out early the conditions may change.so we cannot say that India will win world cup after winning matches against australia and England.Dhoni's captaincy is very good..So we can hope dhoni will bring world cup to India

I think india will win world cup . Todays india team play fantastic cricket. India have already won 20-20 world cup and performed best in Australia . In australia india won one day series and now india team win test series against australia and one day series against england . So we can say india will win world cup .
