I've been wanting to build my own desktop for a couple of years now and I am just recently finding the funds available to do so.
Have any of you built your own computers and do you have any tips for a first-timer?
Do you have any particular brands or parts you recommend?

I recently too wanted to build me a computer but have yet to get the funds I need to do it with. My tip to you is make sure all the components are compatiable with each other as well as the operating system (windows) you plan to use. Make sure you have your computer grounded.
