I have eaten the following: artichokes, asafetida, asparagus, basil, cardamon, clove, ginger, nuts, pomegranate, saw palmetto, strawberries, tomatoes, truffles, turtle eggs, mangos and mamey sapote. I did not realize they are aphrodisiac foods.

A globe artichoke is a partially edible perennial thistle originating in southern Europe around the Mediterranean.
An Asafetida is an herbaceous perennial plant growing to 2 m tall, with stout, hollow, somewhat succulent stems 5-8 cm in diameter at the base of the plant.
A cardamon is used for herbs within two genera of the ginger family.
A pomegranate is a fruit-bearing deciduous shrub or small tree growing to between five and eight metres tall.
A mamey sapote is a melon which is eaten raw out of hand or made into milkshakes, smoothies, ice cream and fruit bars.

I know one effective aphrodisiac you could eat. Oysters. Yep, these are cheap in the market and are really effective aphrodisiacs. Once I ate more than I used to eat and I felt what I shouldn't. I couldn't control it. Perhaps because of the quantity of oysters I ate. Next time I'd try to moderate myself from eating oysters especially when we are eating outside or in the restaurants. Maybe if I do eat at home, i'd let myself eat everything I can. With rice, of course!

A healthy body is all you need for an aphrodisiac. When one is low on libido it means that the body is not really all that healthy. Cheers!!
