Does interracial relationships benefit society?

I believe in a way it does since the families of each party learns to deal with the other's culture and learn from them and learn to compromise and as we learn the what the other party's culture brings, we learn to understand what they are about, it may not necessarily bring 'peace' as you said, but it can foster understanding which may eventually lead to peace. And now in our society where racism is a big no no, interracial relationships help in bridging the gap between societies so that in the end racism will be extinguised.

I think interracial relationships can be good so far as both the partners as well as their respective families respect their relationships and really work towards understanding each other's cultures and appreciate the good in both cultures. But it takes a good amount of patience and an adventural temperament to just keep learning from each other without comparing which is good and which is bad, because comparing ends up in argument because no person will appreciate their culture being criticized. So, I would say, interracial relationships would benefit society if the people involved are matured enough to do it.
