how long will it take for stock markets to show bull trend after economic crisis

due to US economic downtrend stock markets have hit badly. Millions and millions of money swiped out. When will the stock markets again show bull phase. Can Obama do something?

I think that bull trend will not end so soon. People are afraid of losing, so not many people are going into the market. Most people are going out of the market, so the price is going down instead of going up. I think the market needs 1 year or more to recover.

I agree with you. generally if stock market falls it falls like a pack of cards but again rise very very small in steps and takes long long time.

Id say at least 5 years. Obama's plans to create more jobs in the US and give money back to the consumer will lift stocks seeing how people with extra money in there pocket will spend on goods and services which will boost companies stocks... my parents are so screwed right now. there in the retirement stages right now... who can really retire right now unless your rich...
