Yes, I had infact stayed overnight so that i could watch my favorite anime, dragon ball z , it would start at 3 am or so, so I would stay up all night. Sometimes i used to watch TV overnight as I didn't used to feel sleepy at all. Well it was like about 4 in the morning or even 5 or 6 I couldn't sleep so i used to watch TV a lot. Then the next day i would not be able to work or concentrate on anything properly as I used to be very much tired because of it.

24 hours. not tv but PC game. 15.00 pm dec 31 till 15.00 january 1st. It was 1997-1998 when i was still single. Now I'm married, and if I do that again, my wife will definitely smack me down...:)

I have met my personal record - 24-hours! Yes! That was when I was in college. It was our semestral break and I have nothing to do all day. Except watch television from the time I wake up till the next morning. I watch everything that's on tv. Be it cartoons, talk shows, variety shows, tv series, movies, whatever they offer - I watched. Without minding the time, I watched tv, all day. The catch? I slept the whole next day!

Yes, there were several times when I stayed all night and all day to watch a TV series. The longest time record I've spent being awake was I guess 36 hours. I was really exhausted at the end of that day, or could I even consider that as one...^^

Does online gaming count, since I don't have a TV? If so, my longest was a working day. I used to be in a global work environment and my longest day was when I was working from home and in meetings. I was playing an online game on my PC while attending (yes, a nice advantage of working from home) and was awake for about 36 hours in total, of which about half was meetings over the phone with various places in the world. Thankfully, I didn't have to go in to work the next day!
