Do you find yourself "forcing out" posts just to make the payout deadline?

I think I was just doing it until I got this idea for a topic. IF I get my payout this month, it would be my first (I haven't been very diligent). I just realized it today and I'm actually just $1.05 short. I think we have about 5 more days left, and today I found myself just looking for topics to reply to and typing down whatever comes to my mind. It's funny because I'm getting so pressured that I'm just forcing out post after post. Normally, I would just enjoy reading and posting and taking my time, but not today. Haha!
Is this happening to you right now???

No not at all. I spend some time here daily. I post discussions and answer them. Payout isn't usually a problem. Forcing things isn't enjoyable. If I come up short then I do.

Hi mymelodake,
It is a good thing that you have a goal in this site but for me i think the essence of mylotting is more on the learning and the friendship of fellow members. I am posting here for that reason the earning i can get here is a bonus only for you can learn and interact with other people at the same time. Honestly i will not stay here for 4 months now if i am not injoying what i love to do, mylot only give very minimal payment but it is a good thing that they really pays for the effort you make. Forcing myself to post i think it is not a good idea for it is already against my will , i am here to post and participate discussion with my free will.

Yeah, I do that sometimes too, especially if I am just a few cents from my payout by end of the month. However, I do mylot at a slow and steady pace. I work on it because of fun more than its earning. I do not like to work under pressure, and therefore, I just work on it daily in the reasonable allocated time slot. In such a way, I won't impact other priorities in my life, while maintaining a consistent progress in Mylot.

I think I am forcing myself to post this time.
You see, I am new here and I only got a couple of posts.
SO when I heard about reaching 200 to use the smileys,
I pushed hard to attain that goal, now I am steadily
going to reach 200, I hope in a day or so. LOL
As for payments, I am still a long way down.

I don't usually do that. Besides, if I don't meet the payout this month, I'll be getting a bigger amount the next. MyLot is just for extra money, in my case, so I can make do with that.
Dishing out post after post can backfire on you. If the posts are not good enough, MyLot will not credit you for that. Because you are pressured, the answers and the discussions you post may not turn out to be interesting which can hamper your ability to earn extra online.
Cheers~

I have been away overseas the last 8 days, and have not done any myLotting, so there's no way I can reach payout this month. But I have to admit that if I am very near payout and there's only a couple of days or a week to go to month-end, I sometimes just pick any discussions to respond to just to make enough numbers and earnings. Otherwise, I will normally pick and choose discussions which I am interested in and have something to share. I bet that many people do likewise, i.e. "force out" some posts just to make payout near the month-end, especially if they can do with the money rather than wait another month to collect it.

I'd feel too guilty to try and force out my posts. And I don't just reply to anything to make the minimum. Whenever I do that I just end up being picky anyway. I like to reply to something that I have an opinion about or something that I can be helpful in. But, I am kinda feeling the crunch too right about now. I'm with my boyfriend for thanksgiving and he has no internet at home. So I know that I won't make the minimum on time but it's still fun to be here.

I have tried to do this when I've been close to payout but it's so difficult some days to find discussions. I've also found I need a break from mylot as I seem to get burnt out. I'm no where near payout at the moment so I'd better go find some discussions.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think I'm feeling it and that's why I'm not really mylotting a lot right now. I have it open, and I check the friends started discussions, but it seems like I can't really find any that I want to respond to...

Not today, but I did have a time a couple of months back when I got like that. I ended up knocking myself posting any old garbage, but it was futile because I still fell short of payout - probably the quality of a lot of my posts was substandard. Nowadays, I prefer to just go with the flow, post when I feel like it, and the money adds up steadily. I'll reach payout when I reach payout, no point burning myself out just for ten dollars. If I don't get it this month (and I probably won't) then it'll most likely be next month instead. No worries.

I can see where you're coming from however I think we might have a little more time. If you are just a dollar or so shy of making payout I think you can make it still. I wish you luck.
I have received pay out here a couple of times. Sometimes I am more diligent with it than other times but I do try.
I am trying to make pay out for December but I am not really pushing real hard. I think it will come if it was meant to be.
This is a good site to make a little extra money and also a great way to make friends and correspond.

hi, my'
i do not want to do that but i am afraid i am feeling the pressure because i cannot post anything interesting today. i mean, i cannot even post a topic that interests me. nor can i post anything that DOES NOT interest me.
sigh.
take care and happy mylotting!

I think I know how you feel, and that was exactly what I felt yesterday. I wanted to post and post, but I was feeling really sluggish, and it really felt like I was just forcing myself. I am actually feeling more relaxed today, and so far, I haven't even replied to or commented on any discussion yet except this one heheh. I think today I'm going to take it easy and just be my normal happy mylotter self LOL

I usually have something on my mind that I start a discussion about. In hopes that it is a popular discussion, I wait for replies and then comment on everyone that replies to my topic. I depend on this for a lot of my posts. If I can't think of anything to start a discussion about, then I simply just go into the topics that interest me the most. I find this the easiest and quickest way to find a discussion that I want to reply to. I will often open up 3 or 4 pages of different topics that way I can search them faster as well. If I'm not interested in the topic I find it very hard to find anything to respond back with.

Well then here's one more to help you reach your payout! LOL I never felt that way though - I think it's because when I decide to reach payout, then before deadline I usually reach it :) thanks to people like you who take interest in my discussions. However, I do sometimes force myself to respond to uninteresting discussions just so I could reach a certain count for the day - like "at least 20" or "at least 50" post goals that I set for myself :P
Thanks for the response on my discussion!
