Changing light bulbs may be a false economy. The so-called low energy light bulbs only save electricity if you leave them on for a long time. If you turn them on and off you will use up more electricity than with the old type as 'low energy' bulbs use most of their energy at switch on. Plus they may not be more reliable than the old ones and have far more dangerous substances in them when you throw them away.
The best way fo saving the environment and saving your money is to only buy what you really need. If you buy too much food for example and it goes past its eat buy date and you throw it away you are damaging the environment and youre wallet.
If you change your mobile phone or indeed any technology jsut because a new version has come out when the old one still works you are wasting money and damaging the environment.
If you buy newspapers rather than rerading them online you are destroying the environment.
If you have more than a couple of sets of clothes you are wasting your money and the environment.
If you turn off prodocucst rather than leaving them on stand by you are likely to wear out the on/off switch and need to throw away the whole item. better to leave on standby.
If you are living on your own then you are wasting space and money in having to equip two buiildings when one would do.
These are far more significant savings than the ones you have mentioned. Think about it!
