i have been doing the turn 1p into a million and so far i have gained £10. Now i need to invest this in something else to get to my next goal of £20. i want to do this via ebay so does anyone have any stories of anything that you have had that is under £10 and has sold for quite high on ebay.

I don't really know about the turning 1p into a million, but could you not sell some things you own on ebay? Or is that not the point of the challenge? Please forgive my ignorance!
Alternatively, are you wanting to buy something for under £10 on eBay and sell it for more? I'd say go for an area in which you already have an interest, do you collect anything, have any hobbies, etc. You would then have knowledge of the relevant items to be able to spot any bargains. Failing that, look for poorly described items that you think you could do a better description on, that usually increases sales.
You could try having a look in charity shops; they often have designer names for low prices which may sell well on eBay.

I once bought a toy from a charity shop for 50p and sold it for £27, it turned out to be a collectors item. Look for things from the Jane Hissey Old Bear range. Also Angelina Ballerina.
