Yes. My fiancee and I set a budget so for ourselves. We each have the same amount of money set aside for Christmas shopping. Christmas has always been our favorite time of the year and we have made a tradition of opening our presents for each other on Christmas Eve night (it is more romantic that way).
I have most of my Christmas shopping completed already. I bought everything online. I go to this great site www.retailmenot.com where you can find coupon codes and I end up saving a lot of money that way. There are a lot of deals you can get online that you wouldn't know about without this website.
My fiancee has already bought me most of my presents too. So, although it is not even Thanksgiving yet, we set up our Christmas tree the other night and put up decorations so that we could place all our presents under the tree!
I know some of you may think it sounds crazy to set up for Christmas this early, but we love the feeling of the holidays and the warm glow of the lights on the tree...

This is a pretty good discussion and I am sure there are a lot of people out there who have already started their Christmas shopping because I am sure a lot of people start their Christmas shopping at the beginning of November because they do not want to have to deal with crowds at the stores, especially if they have a lot of people they are buying gifts for, because it can be a hassle to buy a lot of gifts especially if you are trying to find certain gifts such as toys for your kids of grand kids if you have kids and grand kids, and then I am sure there are people who do not do their Christmas shopping early either because they like waiting until the last minute, because they think everyone else will have already done their Christmas shopping early, which it usually seems that people all think that, and then they have to deal with the huge crowds, and the backed up lines to buy their gifts,or because they only have a few people to shop for,so there is no rush to buy their Christmas gifts,my mother usually starts her Christmas shopping early because she usually has a lot of people to buy for on her side of the family, and on my fathers side of the family, and she likes to get it done as early as possible, since we usually put our Christmas tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving,so we are usually very busy up until Christmas, but this year my mom was talking about not doing Christmas, because she is having teeth pulled on December 19th so she is going to not be able to eat much and not feel good on Christmas, and they will be a little short, but then she decided we will do Christmas including putting the tree and other decorations out but we will not exchange gifts with any of the family, and no one will be allowed in the house if they have a gift, and then my grandpa on my mothers side fell and broke his hip about a week or so ago,so he had surgery and he will not be able to walk without a walker or wheel chair for about six weeks,so he is staying at my great grandmothers house so my grandma can take care of my grandpa and my great grandma at the same time to make it easier on her,so we will have to have Thanksgiving and Christmas up there, and since that means we will have to help my grandma set up her Christmas stuff up at my great grandmothers house the weekend after Thanksgiving we do not know if we will even have time to put our own tree up this year which sucks because I like decorating the tree, but at least we will get to help my grandma decorate her tree, and then we are not sure if we are going to have my dads side of the family come here or just meet somewhere to eat,but it probably just depends, and me and my fiance have already bought gifts for my mother and father, and my fiance is making something for her mother, and we bought there gifts early and they are already wrapped and in the closet, and we are not sure what we are going to do with them if we do not put the tree up,and my parents said they are going to buy us a few things but no one else,so we might just end up having to exchange the gifts on Christmas Eve if we do not put up the tree, even though I kind of want to give my parents their gifts early because I want them to see what we got them, because me and my fiance both think my parents will like their gifts.

I actually started in January. I have a ton done. I still have a few gifts to get and am hoping that I can get some good buys on Black Friday. I am trying to figure out what to get my 8 yr old daughter. She has asked for only little thing and I want to get her a big gift too. I can't wait to start wrapping.

I don't actually have the money to go shopping right now so I am putting it off or as long as possible although I don't think delaying it will really help me much. I haven'y really started thinking about it too much until a few nights ago when I had a dream that I went Christmas shopping and I thought of what presents I should buy for all of my family members. It was actually a very productive night!

I ordered a few pairs of earrings on line for Mom and my nieces, but besides that I don't have a dang thing done. No cards either. I am just not feeling in the mood to do all that stuff this year.
