When I was a kid I used to play this game alot, and yes I got it out of Pollyanna. The chalenge is to find one good thing in every situation. No matter how bad things are try to find something positive.
Its not always that easy, Sometimes you have to think very very hard. So can anyone find one thing to be glad about in the world today with the war and economy the way it is?
Right now my glad thing is this: I'm still here.

Let's see...my fiance lost his job a month ago and neither one of us are able to get a job right now (and trust me, we ARE getting out there and applying/looking) and we are about to lose everything.
I guess I would have to say I'm glad and thankful that mine and my families health is good.

Good luck!
Oh yeah, I'm not giving up hope! I can't, ya know. We have three kids to take care of!
It's just bad timing because the holidays are here.

I'm glad that I can still see the beauty of life, I still have my friends and family around me,I can still eat anything that I"d like to eat, I can say what ever I want without harming others, I can still talk and say how I feel towards my loved ones, and most of all, I'm glad that there's GOD that guides me through all my undertakings and through life itself... We can do nothing without HIM... Godspeed...

This is very easy for me...
I'm glad that I got pregnant at the age of 18 and that my sons father left us. How crazy does that sound? LOL. Let me explain..
If I wouldn't have gotten pregnant, who knows where I would be in this world today. But because I did get pregnant, I started working a full time job. I moved out on my own. I wouldn't have moved to where I did if I didn't have my son - I was in need of a 2 bedroom apartment and that was the only one available in this building I moved into. In this building was a guy that lived above me. This guy today is now my husband. We started dating about 6 months after I moved in, and another 6 months later we were living together, and about 16 months after that we were married.
He is a few years older than I am, and I can guarantee that if I didn't have my son I would have been looking for a completely different relationship. So because a baby of a man got me pregnant, up and left me when I was 4 months pregnant, I married the best man in the world. :)

I'd say the good part is that situations like this show some people what really matters. When spoiled Americans are whining "I have to sell my Ferrari" they might finally realize that there are too many people in the world with no food or money at all. Economic crises put life into perspective. What's really important in life? It's not money.

Gee, if I'm spoiled then I'd hate to see your bedroom...must only have a bed in there!
