Free Auction Sites ... worth it for the publicity??

I'm trying to promote my business and was thinking about posting a bunch of stuff on free auction sites. I doubt they would sell but it would give me a chance to put my business link on there. Is it worth the trouble though. How much traffic goes to those sites like webidz and ibid? Is one person a day going to click on my site. I don't think it's worth posting 200 items to get one click a day. What does everyone else think?

Perhaps you should start with a few items and see how it goes. I did sell some things on webidz, but it was very slow and there is not a lot of traffic. The good part is that it free and you don't have those darn fees ebay sticks you with, but it's harder to move merchandise. I would put a few items up on the the different sites and see if they sell and to see if the site is professional and honest. Good luck!
