Firefox v Internet Explorer

I know this discussion is a little old, but I thought I might add my two cents worth. I love FireFox and would you believe ever since I've installed it I've gotten viruses through Internet Explorer. Not to mention all those pop ups come through IE too. Go figure. I had to reboot my computer . . . so far so good.

hmm i don't think so that is weird. i suggest which explorer you liek best, if you like IE then jsut uninstall firefox, but if you want you should try the plugin that firefox has that in the browser can switch from firefox to IE stil keeping firefox function

I had both internet explorer and firefox installed in my computer. But I never faced any difficulty with these browsers. I always runs both browsers simultaneously. I think it may be because of some errors in the registry. Use a registry cleaner to remove those errors and use updated stable version of both browsers. (provided your computer supports their specifications) Now we can install firefox 3 and internet explorer 7 as they are stable versions from those providers. Thank you.

not sure bollar, thats weird :S On my computer the only thing i have is internet explorer. Ive never tried anything else exept MSN Exporer. And it was horribly slow so i deleted it. But on the new laptop im getting i think it comes with firefox, so il know how it is soon :p Anyways sorry i dont know the answer to your problem.. Good luck anyways :)
