Who is a friend?

A friend is a simple word but has a great meaning. It is like love and life, it has no meaning because it defines itself. When you say I have friend or friends, you don't look for any reasons because it's beyond words. You can have a friend in your mother and father, in your brothers or sisters, in your teacher, in God and in you. Because the most essential truth you already know, I have them, therefore; I have friends....^_^

yes ,it is difficult to describe .In my opinon, friend is someone we can share our happy ,sad ,excited things with them.Sometimes ,just a good listener for us.

first of all my wishes to you for entering mylot. welcome to mylot.
good discussion to start but an obvious one. i do agree that every relation is more or like a friendship. if parents are like friends then the house will transform into a home. similarly the real value of brothers and sisters can be realized only if they are your close friends. also the husband and wife relation has to be a one without ego more like a friendly relation, only then the life will be happier.
so lets be friendly to everyone around us to make this world a better place to live in.

friend is nothing but, yhe man r women who share their feelings with us in happy and sorrow.
