Why does a person fall in love with more than one person at a same time?

yeah it is possible. and that for me is called selfishness. coz when you already have someone beside you, you should be contented with him or her. there should be no reason for that person to seek for another love. if that person is not happy anymore with his or her partner, then he or she should broke up with his or her partner first before looking for another love.

Well, I do believe that we can love many person at the same time.. Just like for example, we love our parents, siblings, friends, our boyfriend/girlfriend, pets, relative, etc. at the same time, right?? We can't say that I love my mother today then tomorrow is my father, the day after tomorrow is my sister, and so on.. We can love them at the same time anytime and anywhere we go.. So, its really possible to love more than one person at the same time.. But the only problem that people usually encounter is loving someone else when we are already committed our self to someone.. Of course, when you love someone and you're already committed then its not good because your doing of what they called "cheating".. Since according to the rules of love, you may love only one person at the same time because you can't marry two women at the same time, its against the law of God and law of men (except other religion who can't marry more than one).. Well, I also believe that in every person that we love they have different rank and types in your heart.. Just like our mother, father, siblings, etc we love them as our mother, father, siblings, etc. and the love that we have for them are very strong because we can sacrifice anything just to them happy.. Then for our friends, our boyfriend/girlfriend, they also have a part in our heart.. It is on how much they had occupied the space in your heart and how much you want to spend with them.. So, if you love two boyfriend/girlfriend then there's one of them had a higher percent or they might have the same percent in your heart but there's different reasons why you love them..

If a person falls for two persons at a time, then i would call it lust rather than love. you can only love one person at a time, Either he loves one among two or he is flirting with those two.

I think no way it can be said love. when a person is in love with two, it must be understood one may be love, the other may be cheating. In one word that person must be cheating with both. he is just keeping himself happy.

I think it has alot to do with, they are confused about who they are really wanting to spend the rest of their life with as a life partner. They like to play the field.

Hello ajitlal. I used to have a colleague who fell in love with two girls more than a decade ago, one was a good-looking girl and the other was one who was ordinary-looking. Guess what? The former one gave him up after moving to work somewhere else. He got married to the latter one who is more practical. I have never had this kind of case happen to me. I don't allow it to happen this way. I think that it is hard to imagine to fall in love with two girls on my side. One is good enough for me to handle if we really love each other. hehehe

we can be in love with two person in the same time, it depends to whom we are in love.. we can love our mother and wife, in the same time, we can love our kid and mother in the same time.... but if that is to love two lady or two men in the same time as a lover... I do not think if we should call that love... when love happens, then that person can not see anybody else except his or her love and can not think or feel about second one.... but if we cut love from that ... then yes, we can like so many people in the same time..
